Wild & Wonder
The natural world as a child first meets it — animals, oceans, weather, space and growing things.
Curator's statement
Wild & Wonder is for the age when a child learns that the world is full of things worth knowing — that whales are enormous, that seeds become trees, that the moon changes shape on a schedule. The collection treats natural subjects with accuracy and affection: friendly but not cartoonish, simplified but never wrong. It is made to invite questions. Original illustration throughout, in a palette warm enough for a bedroom and clear enough for a classroom.
Design philosophy
Accurate but simplified natural forms. Friendly, never cartoonish; simplified, never incorrect.
Colour system
Forest green, ocean blue, warm sand, sunlit yellow, clay, cream.
Shape language
Simplified animals and plants, ocean and sky layers, lifecycle and growth sequences, moon phases.
