Curator's statement
New Year Renewal is the most spare collection in this family — appropriately, since the feeling it chases is clearance. Its language is the clean page: wide empty ground, one deliberate mark, a horizon just beginning to lighten. Where Festive Gold is about the gathering, this is about the morning after, in the best sense. Original contemporary compositions for studies, offices and homes at the point in the year when people decide who they intend to be.
