Marble & Brass
Material luxury — stone veining, metal warmth and considered surface.
Curator's statement
Marble & Brass is a collection about materials. Stone veining provides the movement, brass provides the warmth, and the compositions do very little else — because good materials rarely need help. It is the most tactile work DALFASTART makes, and reads as expensive without announcing it.
Design philosophy
Materials as subject. Veining supplies movement; metal supplies warmth; composition stays out of the way.
Colour system
Carrara white, brass, deep green marble, onyx, warm bronze.
Shape language
Stone veining, metal inlay lines, layered surface, restrained geometric framing.
Composition
Every piece must be a genuinely original composition. No imitation of an identifiable artist's distinctive style, no reproduction of an existing artwork, and never derived from another DALFASTART artwork.
Ideal spaces
Hotels, executive suites, luxury residences, restaurants, spas.
Print formats
1:1, 2:3, 3:4, panoramic.
Collection build-out: 1 published of a planned 120 artworks.
