Desert Bloom
Arid landscapes and the surprising life within them.
Curator's statement
Desert Bloom is about life that persists where it should not. Wide sun-worn ground, long shadow, and then — sparingly — a bloom, a succulent, an unlikely green. The palette is heat-bleached and the compositions are patient. Resilience rendered as landscape.
Design philosophy
Heat-bleached palette, wide patient ground, sparing points of life.
Colour system
Sun-bleached sand, terracotta, sage, dusty rose, bone, deep clay.
Shape language
